Mygrains in Colour

At some point last year I decided it wouldn't hurt to put together a pitch package of the "Mygrain" comics and send them off to the major syndicates. Knowing full well that they are too odd for any mainstream newspaper didn't deter me for a moment. The responses (from those who chose to respond) were of the form letter variety. I particularly liked the one that said my stuff was "..Not up to the caliber and quality.." of their syndication. This coming from the publishers of "Marmaduke" and "Family Circus"? Man, I'm in the wrong ball game.

Anywho, I dolled up two of the old strips with fancy Photoshop colours. Now c'mon... Wouldn't you rather read these puppies than suffer another "Garfield"???

These are great!

I would certainly take them over the vast majority of the stuff that passes for syndicated comic strips these days.

But then... a posse of letter-writing senior citizens would probably disagree. And they're all wrinkly.

Newspaper funnies blow!!! If comics wre like this, people would sttart buying papers JUST to see the funnies like they did in the old days!

Good Troy, good. I'm doin' fine.

As for APC, you'll have to give me a few weeks, I gotta install a DVDr drive when I get back in two weeks from a trip. Then I'll send them to ya. I haven't seen them all either! HA.

The Asterix thing...well, I don't know if it'll be screened here or not. Last I heard there weren't any distribution deals over here. That's why I'm going to check it out!
